My debut animation, a music video for the amazing Irish group Ships.
I wanted to make a homage to the 70s & 80s sci-fi animation I love so much - things like Fantastic Planet. The images were composed in Photoshop, made to move in After Effects with vintage effects applied using Red Giant plugins.
Ships subsequently went on to win Ireland's most prestigious music award - the RTE Choice Music Album of the Year.
